Request to delete my account

If you no longer wish to use ship-assist, you can immediately stop using it, provided you have stopped any active sessions for facilities (electricity and/or water) in ports.

 

If there are no more active sessions, you can submit a request to us to have your data removed. Clearly state your username (your e-mail address) with which you log in to the ship-assist app.

The following data will be deleted

We will delete the following data on request:


  • Your user data includes your username, email address, first name, and last name.
  • The link to the ships that are linked to you.


If you are the last admin user in the system on a registered vessel and you indicate that you wish to delete your vessel data, we will delete the following data for you:

  • All visits linked to that ship, including: berths, arrival and departure times.
  • Your relationship data linked to that ship, including: Name and address details of the organization and possibly your eco-id.


The following data will be saved

What is not deleted:

  • If you have used the app to use facilities, the transactions will be stored for 7 years for financial accountability.
  • Ship-assist serves as a gateway for ports. Data shared with ports is deleted in Ship-Assist. However, the ports themselves also store data. This data is not deleted by submitting a request to Ship-Assist.
