How to link a ship?

Preparations:

To use Ship Assist you must first connect your ship to your account. Before you can connect you must first:

1. installed Ship Assist on your phone or open on your computer. See How to open Ship Assist
2. having an account. See How to create an account
3. Logged in

Steps:

1. Press the hamburger menu
2. Choose "register"
3. Enter ENI and ECO-id 
4. Choose "register"

After approval, you can perform actions on behalf of the registered ship. Approval is done in one of the following ways:

1. The party linked to the ECO-ID receives an email with the access request. The email contains buttons with which access can be granted for the ship-assist app.
2. Did you register your Ship-Assist account with the same email address as known to the company linked to the ECO-ID? Then you will receive immediate access.
3. Another user has already been granted access to the ship in the app and has administrative rights. In this case, you can ask the other user to grant access.

Exceptions:

It is possible that no email address is known for the company linked to the ECO-ID. In this case, we request that you contact melding@sabni.nl.
